I do not normally solicit people for personal causes, however, I have decided that this one time I am going to bend my rules and share this info on all of my networking sites.
My 15 year old daughter Christina has gotten involved with an organization called Schools for Schools. They provide educational materials and housing for teachers and students in war torn regions of Uganda. She is hosting a concert here in our hometown on May 31st with the goal of raising a little over $3,000 which will in turn build one house where up to 5 teachers will live year round.
I am so very proud of her for undertaking such a lofty and noble cause and I am thrilled to share her website and efforts with my online friends. She is just a child but one who gives me great pride and joy. Even if you cannot contribute on a financial basis to her fundraiser, if you would be willing to give a word of encouragement on her site it would be greatly appreciated. I truly hope no one is offended by my posting this here, as a fellow artist, I often joke that if it where not for my husband, Ramen noodles would be my best friend!

I simply wanted to share her efforts with you and if you hopefully do my part in helping to raise awareness of this fantastic organization and their efforts to help these amazing kids.
