Today I am asking everyone to take 5 minutes this weekend to reconnect with one another. Write a letter, send a card, make a phone call. Life is to short to spend waiting for tomorrow. I say it is time for us all to appreciate and enjoy today. Let's take 5 minutes out of our busy schedules to embrace, foster and reconnect with the people that mean the most to us.
Today would have been my brother's 32nd birthday. I spent to long saying "I'll call next week" "I'll visit next year", never realizing that next week, next year would not happen for us. I let 7 years go by without seeing my brother even though we spoke often by phone. He died last month on Sept. 21st. I saw him again at his funeral. I have to live with idea that I was always to busy to make it to Florida to visit. I could have called more, written more, been more involved but I always felt that I had time to do those things.
Take some time this weekend and reconnect with someone you care about. 5 minutes of your time to recreate memories to last a life time.
I have created an official event on FaceBook

I'm taking the challenge this weekend. Will you?
